USA : True opens new store at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas

True Religion Apparel Inc announced the opening of a new branded store at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 1,500-square-foot branded store will carry the entire True Religion collection, including denim, sportswear and a full range of licensed product. "We have been eagerly anticipating the opening of our first True Religion Brand store in Las Vegas, Nevada," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer. "This marks the first of three stores we plan to open in Las Vegas in the next few months. The newly renovated Miracle Mile Shops, which are located in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, are expected to attract a young, typically fashion-forward shopper." "This new store provides us a great opportunity to expand our core customer base and will set the tone for the expected November opening of a branded store at Fashion Show Mall and an early 2008 opening at Las Vegas Premium Outlets," said Michael Buckley, president. Miracle Mile Shops premium adjacencies include French Connection, Urban Outfitters, BCBG, Lucky Brand and Sephora. Since its total make-over, the 170 store, 1.2 miles of prime retail space is now a more sleek, urbanized and contemporary hot-spot.
